Dick Król did not sell cars to earn a living. He sold them for one reason only... That was to learn the inside and out of a business that often operates on the outer fringes of honesty and decency. He infiltrated the car dealers' ranks with the sole purpose of obtaining information for you, the consumer. He deliberately capped over four years of intense research into car sales by getting a job as a car salesman.
Dick Król underwent formal car sales training and then paid his dues out on the car lot. He separated customers from their money using the proven and highly effective car sales techniques he had learned in the classroom. He actually sold cars by employing and improving upon the "classic" sales methods inflexibly required by the majority of the car dealers. Questionable methods clothed as normal business practices and accepted by an unsuspecting car buying public.
No one at the dealership ever suspected that he was gathering data on every inside detail of the car sales business that prospers on consumer ignorance. Dick Król's credentials are substantial: an Ivy League graduate, an engineer by profession, a former U.S. Navy Submarine Officer who served on three submarines. Qualified to command Navy submarines and surface ships. He taught advanced underwater weapons to officers at the U.S. Naval Submarine School. He was the navigator for the President of the United States. He is a certified accident investigator and system safety engineer. He managed a complex shipyard overhaul of the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) and then flew missions off Kennedy in the A6 Intruder.
Dick holds an Airline Transport Pilot's license and is a Certified FAA Multi-Engine Instrument Flight Instructor... He designed and built his own home. For over 10 years, he was a computer consultant for Litton/PRC Inc.'s Joint Engineering Data and Information and Control System (JEDMICS). Editor of the JEDMICS Technical Journal. Worked on the development and testing of advanced web server software. He is a founder of The Colonial Terrier Club.
Dick Król survived an uncontrolled, near fatal, dive to crush depth in a diesel submarine. He walked away from a catastrophic mid-air collision in a Lear jet. He is a survivor who knows The Lord, Jesus Christ, as a result of these close calls.
